Acting DG of centre for women development dies in accident

– Director-General of the National Centre

Dauda, has died

– The auto crash occurred along Abuja-
Kaduna expressway on Friday

The National Centre for Women Development
in Abuja has reported on the death of its
Acting Director-General, Alhaji Abdulmalik Dauda

According to Mr Mohammed Aliyu, the
protocol officer to the director-general, Mr
Dauda died in a car accident along Abuja-
Kaduna expressway on Friday.
He was returning from an official
assignment, when the accident took
place. DG had been reportedly buried in
accordance with Islamic traditions in his
home town in Niger.

The deceased accepted a post from Ms
Onyeka Onwenu in February this
year after President Muhammadu Buhari
sacked the heads of 26 federal agencies.
Mr Dauda was born on August 27, 1959, in
Niger state, he was survived by two
wives and five children.

Earlier today another prominent Nigerian,
Habib Jega, Speaker of the Kebbi State
House of Assembly was reported to pass
away following a car accident .
