JULIUS BERGER NOW CHARGED WITH ENDING PERSISTENT FLOODING ON ABA ROAD, PORT HARCOURT.

Mr. Cyril Dum Wite the Special Adviser to Governor Wike on Special Projects, earlier today embarked on an on-the-spot assessment of flooded parts of Port Harcourt/ Aba Express road. Areas visited were St. John’s Bus Stop, Market Bus Stop and First Bank Bus Stop all along the busy Port Harcourt/ Aba express road.
During the visit Mr. Cyril Dum Wite, who was in the company of representatives of Construction giant, Julius Berger, met and had discussions with the authorities at the Airforce Base towards ameliorating the difficulties being experienced by commuters along the road.
Mr. Wite appealed to motorists and road users plying the road for patience and assured that Governor Wike has mandated Julius Berger to bring a permanent end to the flooding problem.
Aba road is a Federal road and has for some years been dogged by persistent flooding during raining seasons.
