El Rufai’s Kaduna And The Impending Inferno"

By Mike Odeh James

Over the years Kaduna has been a testing ground for all kinds
ideas. When Sani Yerima first introduced Sharia, it was not
effective in Zamfara, he had to visit Kaduna and test its popularity
with the Muslim Unmah. Although many didn’t fully grasp the ‘true
intention’ of Bakura, they swallowed it whole until Kaduna burned
down.
Nasir El Rufai became governor months back and the first thing
he went for was the checkpoints and road blocks put in place to
check Boko Haram and all kinds of insecurity in Kaduna. One of
his reasons was that his people were being frustrated by the
soldiers and punished unduly.
Few months down the line, criminal elements returned and now
kidnap women and children, rob people in their homes, go to
villages (Birnin Gwari, Zangon Kataf and co) slaughtering people,
rustling cattles, and all kind of criminal activity you can think of.
Right on Ahmadu Bello Way, once it’s dark, you need God to get
home safely else you’ll be robbed, maimed, raped or killed.
And instead of looking for solutions, our deaf governor is busy
demolishing homes of retired civil servants, asking churches to
come for licenses to preach the word of God, changing school
curriculum, embarked on some phantom verification exercise,
slapping and getting slapped because he thinks he’s smart,
watched Shiites get slaughtered in droves, making a television
broadcast condemning them and rushing to form a commission
of inquiry into the killings even after visiting same man to beg for
votes. Anything you can think of that is anti-people, Nasir does
them all.
Those who love Nigeria should and must pray for her. What I see
coming is not good o!
Those that have El Rufai’s ears should also pull them and warn
him, “if he doesn’t retrace his steps and things get out of hand in
Kaduna, no matter the number of marabouts he gives money to
pray, it will fail”.
Kaduna must not be used as a test ground for their nonsense or
else God will fight and no one will be spared.
“Who the gods want to kill they first make mad”.
